Last night Basic Physics announced that his upcoming EP titled Light Me Up has transformed into his next album. This is great news considering his past 2 free albums were absolute jams. Now that the EP; Light Me Up has turned into an album, Basic Physics had to push back the release date to June 21st. To satisfy all 15K fans following him on FaceBook he has given us a preview as to what to expect on his upcoming album. The track "Summer Weekends" features 5 great standalone tracks by Zedd, Ne-Yo, Taio Cruz, Eva Simons, and Juventa to make one epic summer night party mix.

Today DJ Rozz hit us up with a mashup of Gotye's track "Somebody That I Used To Know" Vs. Sander Van Doorn's track "Chasin'" and I am seriously digging this track. Since "Somebody That I Used To Know" has been played on all the radio stations (Constantly) I feel that the track loses its spunk and sold out. You know that feeling when you found a great song, and then 4 months later everyone is obsessed with that track...because of the radio. Well this is how I feel with Gotye.

So to get my fix with the original without feeling angry that the song is now considered "Pop" I listen to all the amazing remixes of the track. DJ Rozz definitely did a justice with the creation of this track. The mashup with Gotye and Sander Van Doorn works so well that this may be my favorite one of his mashups.

"Born Ready To Die" (Lana Del Rey vs. Notorious B.I.G.) - Terry Urban

Yesterday Terry Urban released this unbelievable mixtape to cellebrate Notorious B.I.G.'s life. The mixtape (which is a mashup with with Lana Del Rey) features 15 quality tracks that I cannot stop listening to. Once you pick up the free download, burn this to a CD because this mixtape does not deserve to be forgotten on your iPod.

I feel that the best description for this music can only come from the artist of this mixtape Here is what Terry Urban has to say:

A Few weeks ago Basic Physics released his amazing mashup album "Lift Off" which you can listen to and download here. Well he is back with his newest track "The Encore" which is another mashup that features Chiddy Bang, Hardwell, Deadmau5, and Elli Goulding. Basic Physics "Lift Off" Mashup Album 

So I am going to try something new here, and embed playlists and mixtapes on this blog. This is something I hope works out really well for you guys and the blog itself. If you like what you are seeing then show your friends and help spread the word please. Ok now back to the good stuff.

So the artist Basic Physics is new to me, I listened to his new mashup album yesterday and thought it was without a doubt blog worthy, I just wanted to make sure I had the best possible way to present it to you all. This album is a continuous mix that features 100+ songs that you love. The best part is you can sit back and enjoy without the pause and build up of the next song, gotta love continuous albums right? So I am a huge fan of Zeds Dead and Big Sean and now I am a new fan to The Jane Doze; who created the great sounding mashup of Big Sean's "Bullshittin" and Zeds Dead "Coffee Break"

"Out For Blood" - Zeds Dead ft. Omar Linx

This is one of my favorite Zeds Dead works. I love it because it has some hard dubstep but it is not overwhelming. It also has some great rap vocals by Omar Linx. This will keep your head bobbing for sure.

Blue Foundation - "Eyes on Fire" (Zeds Dead Remix)

I love this remix as well because its smooth sounding and then kicks up with some serious dubstep. The original  track to this remix is also apparently the song in one of the Twilight movies, complements of my girlfriend's knowledge.
